Now
with 2 vans servicing the state of Georgia.
Furnished with audio-visual equipment to allow for an
on-site classroom, the training vans allow contractors
to educate field staff on a broad range of safety topics.
|
|
The
goal of the program is to alert employees of the many
types of hazards they may encounter on the job site
and to assist you in reducing the number of accidents
through a safer work environment.
Four safety specialists: Brian Wood, Denny Pickett, Josh Conrey, and Wayne
Hurst, representatives of Affinity, assist in the
presentation of the material on the vans. All have
extensive experience in construction safety and loss
control, allowing for additional discussions. Plus,
most of our safety specialists hold certifications
in construction, health, and safety.
Since
the vans contain videos covering all aspects of construction
safety, the presentation can be easily adapted to
the needs of a specific project. Information is readily
available on popular subjects, such as hazardous communication,
fall protection, scaffold and ladder safety, and drug
abuse programs. Understanding the language barrier
on Georgia's job sites today, we offer you a wide
variety of subjects in Spanish. Considering
the construction industry's time constraints, the
AGC of America have produced high quality videos that
present instructional material effectively and efficiently
to participants, in a minimal period of time.
Typically, these "tool box" safety tapes
vary in lenth from five to thirty minutes. Plus, by
bringing the most pertinent and current information
straight to your job site, regardless of the distance,
the program minimizes lost time and work schedule
interuptions.
Since the inception of the safety vans in 1984, they
have visited over 25,000 job sites, educating over
415,000 personnel on construction hazards.
Hear what other contractors have to say about our
safety program:
"Since
the training, our accidents have declined about 20%.
We look forward to further reductions in the months
ahead."
"Our workers certainly received a great deal
from your presentation.
I have had nothing but great response regarding your
safety films.
We are looking forward to working with you again in
the very near future."
"We think that the safety vans are one of the
best features that you have to offer;
if it saves one finger, or one life, it is well worth
the effort."

One
of the best services that Affinity offers to our customers
(free of charge) is the safety vans -- we have two safety
vans that are on the road 5-days a week (excluding holidays)
just to help make your workplace and your employees
safer. Safer employees means more productivity, better
teamwork, and less downtime.
We will come to your jobsites, your office, or wherever,
to meet with you and your employees to help make them
"Safety First" employees. That's one of the
reasons that CompTrustAGC's Loss average is one of the
lowest in the State of Georgia! |
